The art of cooking

The art of cooking

...is the art of temptation. Good food is tasty, looks beautiful, and gives you a sense of satisfaction and contentment.

Food is the source of our life energy and our school takes the viewpoint that nutrition influences our physical, mental wellness.

We follow Macrobiotic principles and when you participate in any of the courses of the Natural Cooking School, you will discover many the aspects of what makes food ‘good’.

It is more commonly accepted now that eating organic and fresh produce is important for one’s health and vitality. But even amongst these produce, some are suitable for one person, and some are not. In our courses, we do not explore good or bad food, but we explore what is suitable and good for you and the people you cook for. Different circumstances (such as climate, your daily work activities) call for different kinds of food, cooking styles and recipes. Eating what is right for you is important and it can generate a lot of positive change. Students often report how well they feel, even after a short course in the school.

Our courses are structured to teach you how to cook healthy, colourful and tasty meals. Our core ingredients are mostly vegetarian and you will learn how to replace meat and diary products with alternative produce.

Cooking should not be laborious exercise. You will have plenty of opportunity to explore how to prepare meals quickly and make them suitable to the needs our modern society.

You will learn more than just recipes. Gaining an understanding of the characters of different produce and their energetic value, is a core objective of all our courses. Therefore, we study the Western approach to nutrition as well as the dynamics of Ying-Yang philosophy from the East.

With more than 30 years experience, we can assure you that ‘Natural Cooking’ can be enjoyed by everybody – you will be able to delight the strongest critics.
